Counseling for People Infected with or Affected by HIV/AIDS
The mental health needs of persons living with
HIV/AIDS have always been complex and have been further impacted
by recent developments in the medical treatment of the disease.
Our many years of experience have taught us that individuals with
the disease face a number of ongoing physical and social stressors
that are best overcome by a variety of treatments addressing the
mind, the spirit and the body. This program is geared specifically
to the mental health needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS and those
of their families, partners and caregivers, and is offered in an
environment of safety, compassion and comfort.
If you have a concern that you would like to address
in individual, couple or family counseling, please call our office
to make an appointment for an intake interview at 716-881-4612 or contact Kathy Crissey, LMHC, Counseling Coordinator at 510-9487.
